This was a series I wanted to watch in a long time but I just didn't get around to watching it. However I finally watched it yesterday (yes I spent the whole day watching it!) and I was literally glued to the screen.
I loved the acting by most of the actors and actresses so I really do recommend this series as it has a simple and easy to follow plot. It has the right mix of laughter and romance as well as other genres packed into one. Favourite characters are definitely Hayami Mokomichi for being the attraction of the series and Sakai Ayana for playing such a lovable role. I found it truly difficult to dislike any of the characters because there are things you can relate to with all of them - OK maybe 02 played by Abe Tsuyoshi. But honestly the relationship between Hayami Mokomichi and Aibu Saki (lead actress) was great. But if you're easily heartbroken I'm not sure the ending is for you as I found myself quite emotional for a long time after I finished the series.

Now I actually want to delve slightly into the story so there are definitely SPOILERS from now on!
Firstly to all the manga fans I haven't read it but after reading the first two chapters today I thought the drama seemed better because it was sweeter and made more sense in that type of environment rather than in school.
I loved Hayami Mokomichi's character and acting, his undying love for Riiko reminded me of Raymond Lam's love to Linda Chung in Heart of Greed (OK slightly different but they both died in the end!) He was definitely why I watched on and on without hesitating. His scenes were sweet and funny whilst watching him slowly become more human was totally refreshing and delightful. That is why I have been digging around for any of his other series, which has lead me to Gokusen 2, though recommendations for this show was weak I watched it anyway, but that's for later.
Mizushima Hiro played the third person to the Tenjo Night/Izawa Riiko storyline. Personally I didn't really like him because I loved Hayami but in truth he was a commendable character who actually I always felt Riiko would choose from how the story was developing but the amount of episodes in the series meant that Riiko would have to change her love interest in less than 5 minutes (and that is the main criticism of this series - Jdramas are tooooooo short!)
Aibu Saki the lead actress was very cute in her portrayal but her character was annoying in the early stages when she continuously pushed aside Tenjo. I'm so sad they didn't live happily ever after!
Sasaki Kuranosuke played the techician guy to Tenjo Night (if you don't know by now Tenjo is a robot). His character was essential in my opinion as he was an initial link between Riiko and Tenjo's story. I did find his acting at times over dramatic but a little over the top is good I guess for a lighthearted romcom!
Ueno Natsuhi played the evil inbetweener (basically classified as the bitch!) However I actually liked her during the middle because she actually acknowledged Tenjo rather than Riiko! However her character changes 180 degrees so quickly you wouldn't believe it, yet again if this was a 16-20 episodes series this point could have been developed upon.
Sakai Ayana was loveable and cute and it's a shame she couldn't have been with Soshi because I'd rather one couple have a good ending than none. She was the girl that you'd expect to come in as the superbitch but she was ubercool and increased the dramas likeability.
Maya Miki played a bar owner where the main characters went a lot of the time. I really liked her at the start because she was insightful; which is always handy in such a drama, but when she had her concerns over Riiko and Tenjo I started to get annoyed with her because I'd thought she would be the one to say "reach out and grab what you truely love" rather than "you know you can't love a robot", anyway I still liked her character in the end as it increases the depth of the drama.
Overall a big thumbs up from me and an even bigger thumbs up to Hayami Mokomichi for making me make him my first J-Idol actor (did that make sense!?!?!?). Oh by the way does anyone think Hayami Mokomichi looks like Bosco Wong at certain angles?
