Strictly Come Dancing

Just to say I'll be covering the SCD6 competitions on this blog as well and just to start me off will be last nights show. Ok Tom and Camilla came out first and definitely set the bar high for the remaining 7, I was a bit iffy with this couple before the show as I wasn't sure if I would like them but when has Camilla not given me a couple not to love! Just look at Camilla/Roger way back in Series 2 and Camilla/Gethin last year.
Anyway after that it was mostly going to go downhill. It was Phil and Flavia next, besides the short VT there was nothing that I liked about this couple. Phil danced so nervously that it looked cringing. In the end I gave them the exact score as the judges did.
Don and Lilia were never going to be in my favourite couples list but in my opinion they did better than Phil and Flavia but the judges didn't see that and gave them 19.
Austin and Erin were the shock of the night. I love Erin to bits and finally she has a contender that could put her back into the final weeks. I really hope they do so as there waltz was fantastic for a first show attempt.
Mark and Hayley were next and had a lot to live up to as Austin and Erin had earlier waltzed their way to success. But it wasn't to be for them, though Mark seemed a little hunched I thought he did a good job but the judges obviously thought differently.
Next was Gary and Karen. Gary had been filming in where my cousin works a few months ago so I was cheering for a local to get far but sadly he flopped with the judges, I thought he was energetic but nothing other than that. Though Craig's 1 was a bit harsh. I hope the public votes for him and instead give Don and Lilia the boot - Karen can't go first twice in a row!
Jon and Kristina were next and I have to say poor Kristina for getting the guy who is least likely to win! Anyway he did ok but he's probably going to stay for at least another week as he is 5th out of 8th! Finally it was Andrew and Ola. Bravo to the tennis player, bravo to the GMTV presenter. He was energetic and passionate but all in all slightly cring worthy! However still a good job.

The couple who I hope won't go out is
Gary and Kevin

and finally the couple I'll be cheering for in week 3 will be Mark and Hayley!
Can't wait for tonights elimination and next weeks girls first dance!
